Operating plan
effective Sunday, January 3, 2021
IN-PERSON SERVICES, CLASSES, AND MEETINGS WILL RESUME ON WEDNESDAY EVENING, JANUARY 6. FACE COVERINGS WILL BE REQUIRED PER THE CURRENLY IN-EFFECT ORDINANCES ISSUED BY THE CITY OF KANSAS CITY, MO.
Since March of 2020 when restrictions were imposed in an attempt to halt the spread of COVID-19, the leaders at Northland have taken all the steps required to stay in compliance with the ordinances issued by the government of Kansas City while continuing to conduct worship services and Sunday School classes in whatever format was available. When restrictions were relaxed we reorganized and relocated our worship services and Sunday School classes as best we could given the limitations of the facility in order to protect the health of the congregation. We are happy to report that, due to God's protection and the measures that have been implemented, no one has contracted the virus as a result of being in attendance at a service, class, or meeting at Northland.
Two members of the Northland family did contract the virus, but neither contracted it at the church. The one who attended services on Sunday, December 13, was at the board meeting on December 14, and was at Wednesday evening Bible study on December 16 and who tested positive for COVID-19 was, as of December 27, in quarantine for 10 days. There have been no reports of anyone contracting the virus who was in contact with him on those occasions when he was at the church. In order to be absolutely sure that no one who comes in contact with him will contract the virus, he has told us that he will not be attending services, classes, or meetings at church for another week.
The leaders at Northland are, therefore, very happy to announce that in-person Sunday morning worship services, Sunday School classes, and Wednesday evening prayer and Bible study meetings will resume on Wednesday evening, January 6.
NOTE: FACE COVERINGS WILL BE REQUIRED AT ALL IN-PERSON SERVICES, CLASSES, AND MEETINGS.
We will continue to live-stream the Sunday morning worship services and, on most Sunday mornings, 1 adult Sunday School class. Those live-streams can be accessed directly by clicking the link below the picture on the landing page of the Northland website. On those Sunday morning's when the Sunday School class is not live-streamed, we will leave the morning worship live-stream up for a while to allow those logged in to un-mute their devices and enjoy a time of "virtual fellowship".

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS LIVE-STREAM
In-person Sunday School classes will resume on Sunday, January 10, 2021. One adult Sunday School class that normally meets in the Upper Room will continue to be live-streamed most weeks. On those Sundays when the class is not live-streamed, we will leave the live-stream from the morning worship service open so that those logged in can un-mute and enjoy a time of "virtual fellowship". On those Sundays when the Sunday School class is being live-streamed, log-on will be the same as for logging on to the Sunday morning worship service. You will need to log-on to it after the morning worship service has concluded, and YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE THE MICROPHONE ON YOUR DEVICE UNMUTED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DISCUSSION.
