Rick and Virginia Morehouse tested positive for COVID on Monday, August 31.  Both were in attendance at the Wednesday evening Bible study on August 26, but were not at morning worship on Sunday, August 29.

  • Operating plan

effective AT MIDNIGHT, AUGUST 2, 2021

Per the KC mayor's announcement of July 28, 2021, face coverings will be required for all in attendance at indoor gatherings, regardless of vaccination status, when physical distancing is not possible.  This restriction goes into effect at midnight, Monday, August 2 and will remain in effect until at least August 28.

In compliance with that mandate, we have once again moved the rows of seating in the Upper Room sufficiently far apart to meet the physical distancing requirement.  Therefore, face coverings will only be required at Sunday morning worship services, Sunday School classes, and Wednedsday evening Bible study if family groups are seated closer than the mandated distance.  If the mandated seating distance is maintained, face coverings are optional.
