For several years Northland has been providing a no-cost hot breakfast on Thursday mornings to any of the Winnetonka High School students who want to come and eat. The school administration continues to be very supportive of this ministry.
Because of the unusual circumstances created by the corona virus pandemic and the resultant "hybrid" system of in-person and virtual learning that is being used to begin this school year and the attendant restrictions on food service that can be made available to students, Breakfast Club is being suspended - at least until the beginning of the second semester. The hope is that normal, full in-person learning can be resumed at that time. If that is the case, Breakfast Club can be resumed at that time as well. However, that will be re-evaluated aa that time approaches, and decisions will be based on conditions existing then.
